On first viewing this deviation I was quite confused as to what I was being presented with. It obviously struck me that trees featured very heavily but then I noticed the lights positioned throughout the frame. As the eye is drawn deeper in, one begins to get a sense of what is being shown to them...we see less of the urban park and more of fairytale image which the title of the deviation intends to evoke.

I particularly like the positioning of the main tree trunk in the front left of the frame and the sharp contrast created by the bright lights in the background. I also like the small amount of flare caused by the lights.

Overall, I think you've done a really good job here! The shot manages to capture the sense and feeling of being in a strange forest while not hiding the fact that this is a site any of us can encounter on the edge of our urban homes or in the large parks of cities. Great work!

Well, As the title states, "Fairytale" Is a great representation of what this photo has lying underneath the image. You did a great job adding depth to the photo by having the camera at a lower angle then normal. The tree to the left really makes the image, As I'm sure thats what you were trying to accomplish here. The colors are very dark and crisp which in my opinion, make this fairytale seem dark and mysterious. My only dislike on this image is the fact that you can see lights in the background, I think the image could have been done better if you were to take the same photo at a different angle of the tree and had been looking into the woods instead out of the woods, If that makes sense. Nonetheless, This image is fantastic and deserves much more recognition! Good job!
